I've always admired concept artists (both character and environment) as they could visualize the style and visuals of an idea. With that, I aim to convey stories with my art. I am self-taught, learning from online resources like YouTube, ArtStation, Behance, etc.
Mental Health Awareness: X/O Series
Software: Photoshop
Many people hide and mask themselves when they feel like they are not in their 'best' condition. That inspired me to draw this masking action in a vibrant and colourful style. The perspective of reality and space is left undefined and twisted, to challenge one's mindset of their own perceived reality.
X/O is a series with two characters that help each other during struggling times.
Mental Health Awareness: Boxie Series
Software: Photoshop
Tackling the struggles of mental health in an extremely straightforward manner. The Boxie character represents everyone and anyone, for when your head is packed with unhappy thoughts. As the style of approach is a more blunt and strong manner, a minimum colour palette was used and very dull colours. There is an idea of continuing the Boxie series in which Boxie realizes and finds peace, happiness and fulfilment in the little everyday things.
